DENIM CRAZY… 2010 is taking denim to a whole new level!
The Spring-Summer catwalks have seen an explosion of everything denim, from Chloe to Ralph Lauren and Herve Leger… Denim no longer means a pair of jeans! Will you embrace the Double Denim trend?
The denim jean has been a cornerstone of fashion since the early Twentieth Century. From the cowboy styling emergent in the 1930s to the popularised bell-bottoms of the 1970s… denim jeans have transitioned with the endless innovations throughout fashion’s decades.
This season, the international catwalks have burst forth with a whole new level of denim wears for Spring/Summer 2010… and it isn’t just jeans the models are showcasing!

The phrase “Double Denim” has been a serious taboo amongst fashion wardrobes for a good decade, or at least since Jeremy Scott’s trend of denim-on-denim in the nineties died down... But now it’s these two words that are all over fashionistas lips for this year’s spring-summer looks.

Despite the catwalk mania, there are still a few faux pars when wearing denim for the everyday. For example, while denim on denim is in, it looks best when you pair a dark item with a lighter item… Why not try a dark denim jacket with some light acid wash jeans? And denim shoes and accessories are best worn, without double denim clothes… a la 1990s Britney and Justin.
