Not to be confused with many failed celebrity attempts to pave their way into the fashion industry, reformed party girl Nichol Richie has launched an acclaimed clothing range to complement her successful House of Harlow 1960 jewellery line. Winter Kate by Nicole Richie, is a manifestation of her own staple boho-chic style, often seen in the form of flowing maxi dresses over her famous baby bumps; with the name ‘Winter Kate’ a reference to her new daughter’s middle names, and perhaps a nod to her new mature business persona!

Focusing  on a range of female fashion essentials including dresses, blouses, tunics, vests and jackets, the line explores the iconic 1960s trends of earthy femininity, with flowing fabrics, floral prints and detailing such as fringing and embroidery.

While it is far from edgy ground-breaking fashion, it offers easy to wear stylish bo-ho chic clothing, embracing the popularised ‘vintage’ look.  The romanticism of the pieces are cleverly counteracted with leather jackets and unique kimono tops, paying homage to the designer’s personal style.

The emulated bohemian and vintage styles present in modern street fashion, have found a successful home in Nicole Richie’s designs, and will undoubtedly be a big hit as the brand continues to grow.
