Based on Sydney’s ultra trendy Somedays Store in the winding lanes of Surry Hills, Little Collins Street Melbourne has become home to the new sister store Somewhere Store.

Opening its doors in October 2009, it has quickly become a new Melbournian hot spot for edgy fashion pieces. Somewhere stocks a combination of cult Scandinavian labels with offerings from Dr. Denim Jeansmakers, Cheap Monday, Resterods Velour, Gram Shoes, Kostym and Tiger of Sweden, to name a few.

Also supporting up and coming Australian fashion, the store stocks home-grown labels such as Sydney’s own Secret Squirrel.

Check out the pieces from Cheap Monday and Secret Squirel below.

The store’s directors Mattias Friberg and Kristina Vikmans have brought their unique Swedish heritage to the mix, drawing on a playful minimalism for the aesthetics of the shopping space. Sourcing all their products from the Scandinavian fashion scene, the innovative designs have been lapped up by the Australian street fashion culture.
