Avatar Mania Reaches the Paris Runways
The international phenomenon that is James Cameron’s film Avatar, has now taken the Paris Spring/Summer 2010 Haute Couture shows by storm. Models exhibited the manifestations of the 3D world Pandora, strutting down the runways at Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Giorgio Armani Privé last week, in futuristic and nature inspired pieces.
The film Avatar has reached new heights in its bid for world domination, grossing over $US2 Billion in international ticket sales last week. Standing in first place as the most popular box-office hit on record, it is not surprising that Avatar has become the source of inspiration for the key fashion designers in the recent French catwalks.
