Graduates Keep it Hot at Whitehouse Fashion Show 2009
Prestigious Australian Fashion Institute the Whitehouse has once again proved top of its game, with 32 promising graduates presenting their debut collections. Whitehouse offers students a Bachelor of Design specialising in Fashion Design, Interior Design or Styling & Creative Direction.
Graced by the presence of fashion celebrities such as Project Runway’s Henry Roth and designer Camilla Franks, models strutted their stuff to a packed audience at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney.

The third year graduates showcased their designs, which included collections ranging from edgy lingerie and swimwear, to striking shoulder-padded suit jackets, sequined high waisted shorts and flowing evening dresses.
Bachelor of Design students enrolled in Fashion Design, Interior Design and Styling & Creative Direction presented their garments, sculptures and design work in a innovative and collaborative format.The standout students were suitably rewarded with a number prizes including scholarships for a year in Italy, and the coveted chance to work with Marie Claire.

There was also announced a innovative challenge sponsored by the Ted Noffs Foundation taking place over the next week, with students competing to convert second hand wedding dresses into contemporary outfits.
The collections represent an exiting new wave of blood set to hit the Australian and international fashion industries in coming years.

Whitehouse offers students a Bachelor of Design specialising in Fashion Design, Interior Design or Styling & Creative Direction.
