Kirrily and Fernando make a Rukus in their Designer creations

Renowned Australian Fashion Designers Fernando Frisoni and Kirrily Johnson tore up the streets of Sydney yesterday in their brand new customised cars, for the launch of the Toyota Rukus. Both presented stand out collections at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 2010, with Kirrily focusing on an eclectic tribal theme, and Fernando embracing ultimate city chic. Teaming up with Toyota for their latest trendy urban creation, the designers each customised their Rukus vehicles based on the RAFW collections.

Saint Augustine Academy and Fernando Frisoni Rock Day FOUR of RAFW 2010

In bold red, blacks and whites with theatrical vigor, Saint Augustine Academy and Fernando Frisoni stole the show on Day 4 of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 2010. The up and coming label Saint Augustine Academy, by uber cool designer Alvin Manalo, cemented cult status in the music and fashion industry. With a true-blood vampire homage, drawing from the 80s punk goth scene in underground Melbourne, the show featured doc martins, skinny suits tailored to perfection, and double denim to die for (Pun intended). Following Manolo's show in the Cargo Theatre, was renowned designer Fernando Frisoni's sexy city sleek. Frisoni set the scene with a long patent red runway, black city scape backdrop, and a strong collection of blacks, whites, pinks and reds... with embellishments of feathers, sheer fabric and skilled draping. ...

Potent Student Potential at RAFW 2010

The NSW TAFE group runway on Day Four of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 2010, wowed audiences with innovative and edgy designs. Featuring the top graduates from the coveted TAFE fashion course, four students presented their debut collections to rapturous applause. The labels included Fuss, Elliot Ward-Fear, Nicholas Christensen, and the MWW personal pick, Christopher Dobosz. While there were many thrills throughout the show, the spills came when and Elliot Ward-Fear model fell in her towering platform boots, not to mention the painted ballet dancer who in mid-pirouette, lost her top at the beginning of the show! ...
